We had a problem-free and inva-friendly rental experience at Autovia Palermo airport. The personnel were super friendly and spoke both Italian and English. We picked the car up and returned it right outside the arrivals hall, which was good because we traveled with two disabled people. The full coverage was a bit too expensive, but other than that no complaints; a very smooth process.

A good company. The service is OK, although it is out of the Malpensa terminal. The car was in very good condition.
The only problem that I find is that they do not provide night service. So if you flight is delayed and you appear after office hours, you are lost. Also it is not clear what you do when you have to return the car in the night hours.

I feel the obligation to write down and share my personal experience with Autovia/Ecovia to give some contrast to the negative reviews. There was no scam, no long delay or waiting queue, no rude staff, no problem with the car nor the deposit (NB: Yes, I knew about the credit-card-only thing--it was clearly stated as I was doing the online reservation). There were no difficulties with picking up and dropping off the car. Some comments on the preliminary information: The website doesn't provide information on the price for using a debit card. It's much higher than using a credit card. There's also no information on the deposit amount. On the airport sign, look for Autovia, not Ecovia.

Easy rent process and new car

Great experience with Autovia at Bari Airport! Highly recommended!

I chose Autovia car rental at Bari Airport primarily because of their convenient late-night opening hours, which was perfect for our late flight. Finding the rental desk was incredibly easy—it is located directly inside the arrivals terminal, almost right opposite the exit gate.

Nice car. Very pleasant service, both at the office and in the parking area. It would be good to equip the car with a parking disc; I had to write down the time I started parking on slips of paper. Finding a station where I could refuel with LPG was also a bit stressful. It might also be a good idea to leave a note in the car with instructions and the address of the station near the airport.
